Hydraulic oil

The suitable replacement period for hydraulic oil in a sealed tank system is 2000 hours, and more often if the hydraulic oil is contaminated with water or other external materials or subjected to abnormal operating conditions.

As a general recommendation, the 10µ inlet oil filter should be replaced every spring or every 1500 hours (whichever occurs first) on a sealed tank system, or in an open tank system with an air filter fill cap. The oil filter should be replaced every 500 hours.

Heat Exchanger

The heat exchanger core and fins are kept clean at all times for maximum cooling and system efficiency, and the exterior of the heat exchanger is checked daily for blockages and cleaned as needed.

HMF90 Factory Performance Testing

A closed-loop hydraulic motor test is performed on every HMF90-23 before it leaves the works. The test sheet for component No. 02603280203005, taken on 2026/3/28 at 10:01 and 23.5 ℃, quotes a rated displacement of 90 mL/rev, a maximum speed of 3200 r/min and a maximum pressure of 38 MPa (rated 35 MPa); the power-recovery ratio reads 50 %.

The following data were recorded for the HMF90-23 motor on the closed-loop bench (component No. 02603280203005; 2026/3/28 10:01; 23.5 ℃; charge pressure 1.2 MPa):

HMF90 Quality Control & Inspection

HMF90-23 quality control is anchored in the closed-loop test bench. The assembled motor is run so that displacement, speed, pressure, flow and torque can be checked and the overall and volumetric efficiencies confirmed; external leakage is inspected and release depends on the readings meeting specification.

HMF90 Engineering Drawing

The HMF90-23 uses the HMF70/90 series closed axial piston motor drawing. The output shaft is an involute spline, 16/32 radial pitch, 30° pressure angle. Mounting is a SAE flange with four M12 bolts, 25 mm deep. High-pressure ports A and B are threaded 7/8-14 UNF-2B, with separate leakage ports L1 and L2; a speed-sensor installation port uses the same 7/8-14 UNF-2B thread, and the flushing-valve and relief-valve pressure taps are 9/16-18, 15 mm deep. Rotation is available in both CW and CCW.

This HMF90-23 motor was delivered against the Belarus project “Variable Piston Pump for Belarus”. A total of 100 motors were produced for this Belarus client and fitted to rye harvesters, where they serve in the closed-loop hydrostatic transmission for the travelling and harvesting functions.
